Notable Impressions was founded by Denishia Sword and inspired by the guidance and tools her Mother, Katrina, instilled in her. Mrs. Sword has more than 16 years of communications, marketing, community outreach and media relations experience. She has most recently served as the Director of External Affairs and Chief of Education, Advocacy and Research (Bureau Chief) for a Florida state agency. She has produced several television newscasts; served as an instructor of public speaking at the Florida State University; and has been responsible for media relations for several state agencies. Mrs. Sword has also provided public outreach on behalf of the Florida House of Representatives and has led crisis communications efforts during health-related and natural disasters in Florida.

Mrs. Sword is a certified Leadership and Life Coach. Mrs. Sword has received several awards for communications and marketing initiatives, including the National Public Health Information Coalition (NPHIC) Award for Excellence in Public Health Communication. Mrs. Sword holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in communications and marketing from the Florida State University.  Mrs. Sword is married with two children.
